J.N.Chaudhary was appointed as new head of NSG
(National Security Guard) on 26 December 2013.
He is a 1978 batch IPS officer ofAssam-Meghalaya cadre. J.N.Chaudhary
got his name clear from the Union Home Ministry. He will take his charge from
incumbent Arvind Ranjan. He had also served in Intelligence
Bureau. He is due to retire in may 2015.
