Sirajuddin Qureshi was elected as the
President of Indian Islamic Cultural Centre (IICC). The Indian Islamic Cultural Centre (IICC) held an election on 12
January 2014 for its managing body. The election intended to elect office
bearers for the posts of President, Vice-President, Members of Board of
Trustees and Executive Committee.
Other personalities that were elected are
• Delhi Minorities Commission chairman Safdar
H. Khan has been elected as
vice-president.
• Doordarshan
News Director General S. M. Khan has been elected to the board of trustees for
the managing body of IICC.
Priority of the newly elected body are
resuming civil service coaching classes for Muslim youth, promoting vocational
courses and to opening branches of IICC in six other States Bihar, Uttar
Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh.

1981. The main purpose of IICC is to promote mutual understanding and amity
amongst the people of this country and to depict the true face of Islam, which
is most tolerant, liberal, progressive, rational and forward looking religion
besides being based on cardinal principles of human values irrespective of
faith, caste, creed and color.

from all fields of learning can interact with each other to promote
